ATLANTA — Buckhead dressed for the occasion Friday night as the 21st Annual Taste of Buckhead brought food, fashion and community together at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead. Presented by the Buckhead Business Association, the October 23 celebration embraced an Old Hollywood theme, giving one of the neighborhood’s signature culinary events a glamorous backdrop.

The evening’s style came through in sweeping gowns, sparkling details, classic tuxedos and statement jackets. Against displays of black, gold and silver balloons, guests paused for portraits, raised their glasses and shared smiles. From carefully posed group photos to spontaneous moments between couples and friends, the celebration gave ATL Now and Buckhead Today plenty to capture.

At the heart of Taste of Buckhead was its connection to the neighborhood’s dining community. The event brought restaurants, chefs and beverage brands into a shared setting, creating an opportunity to explore local flavors and meet the people behind them. This year’s program also introduced a VIP speakeasy experience alongside chef demonstrations and mixology sessions.

Chef Shawn Osbey, known as “The Traveling Chef,” was named this year’s honoree chair, adding another connection to Atlanta’s culinary talent.

The social moments were just as much a part of the story as the food. Guests gathered shoulder to shoulder for photographs, showed off their evening attire and leaned into the Hollywood theme. Images from the night captured everything from elegant black dresses and pearl accessories to richly patterned dinner jackets and bright pops of color.

Beverage brands also had their moment in front of the camera, including The Botanist, whose bottles appeared in several guest portraits. Those snapshots reflected the event’s blend of hospitality, brand discovery and celebration.

This year’s nonprofit partner, Peachtree Road Farmers Market, connected the occasion to the broader local food community. The partnership highlighted the relationship between Buckhead’s dining scene and the growers, producers and small businesses that help sustain it.

For ATL Now and Buckhead Today, the photographs tell a story of an evening filled with personality: a raised glass, a shared laugh, a confident pose and an affectionate kiss on the cheek. Together, those moments captured the people who gave Taste of Buckhead’s 21st celebration its character.
