Explore Tuba's inspiring transition and culinary passions.

Tuba Atay, founder of ATL Food Stories, made a remarkable career shift from engineering to content creation at the age of 40. During her time at the Taste of Buckhead event, she shared her journey and insights, highlighting the challenges and rewards she faced along the way.

The Leap from Engineering to Content Creation

Tuba's transition wasn't without difficulty. After a nine-to-five job as a single mother, she sought the flexibility that content creation could offer. "It was a big risk," she admitted, recalling the initial six-month period where she faced rejection while pitching to restaurants. However, her perseverance paid off as her brand began to flourish.

"After the six-month mark, things just kinda took off."

Culinary Adventures at the Event

At the Taste of Buckhead, Tuba indulged in various dishes, sharing her favorites with enthusiasm. She praised a beet salad for its perfect balance of flavors, showcasing her deep appreciation for food.

"I love cooking because we have one life to live. I try to live fully," she expressed, emphasizing her dedication to enjoying life through culinary experiences.

Building Relationships Through Food

Her content creation not only fulfills her passion but also supports local restaurants. In one instance, she helped a restaurant attract 52 new customers in just three days! Tuba highlighted the symbiotic relationship between her work and the establishments she promotes.

"If I can help with my job, why wouldn’t I continue?"
