Taste of Buckhead: A Night to Remember with Allana Duggan

Reflecting on the vibrant energy and success of the Taste of Buckhead event.

The Taste of Buckhead event brought together the community in a celebration of food, drink, and camaraderie. Co-chair Allana Duggan shared her experience of the night, highlighting the incredible energy and the joy of seeing everyone come together.

The Best Energy

Allana expressed her favorite part of the night:

"I think just looking around at everyone having the best time, the best energy... in such a great mood, kicking off the best season of the year in Atlanta."

This sentiment resonated throughout the evening as attendees enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and the diverse offerings from local restaurants and vendors.

Grace Under Pressure

Managing an event of this scale involves navigating various personalities and expectations. Allana shared her approach:

"It's just grace under pressure and matching the energy... whatever it takes is and whatever pivot we need to make, I'm always down to see what is the creative solution."

Her experience in the hospitality business allowed her to foster a welcoming environment, ensuring that every brand was represented appropriately while maintaining the flow of the event.

Looking Ahead

As the night wrapped up, Allana hinted at exciting plans for next year:

"If you really enjoyed this event, we're gonna have you back for next year and probably some fun surprises in the mix."

In addition to planning for the next Taste of Buckhead, the Buckhead Business Association is gearing up for the Walk for Alzheimer's and a festive holiday celebration in December.
