UBU 100 Golf Celebration

UBU100 Golf Championship Makes Its Atlanta Debut, Bringing Community, Leadership and Opportunity Together

ATLANTA — The inaugural UBU100 Golf Championship in Atlanta proved to be much more than a golf tournament. Held at the iconic Bobby Jones Golf Course, the weekend brought together business leaders, community advocates, golfers, educators, and supporters for an inspiring event centered on mentorship, networking, and giving back. The tournament serves as a fundraiser supporting youth, families, and educational initiatives through the Life Coach Academy and the UBU100 community engagement programs. (ubu100golf.com)

The ATL Now was on location throughout the event, capturing interviews, highlights, and the excitement surrounding UBU100's expansion into the Atlanta market.

One of the highlights of our coverage was an exclusive interview with Queen Bailey and Michael "Bo" Bailey, the visionary founders of UBU100. Originally based in Richmond, Virginia, the Baileys have spent years building an organization dedicated to empowering youth, strengthening families, promoting self-care, and creating opportunities through education, mentorship, and community engagement. Their mission has positively impacted communities throughout Virginia, and they are now bringing that same vision and energy to Metro Atlanta.

During our conversation, Queen Bailey shared the organization's passion for creating meaningful relationships while expanding access to golf, leadership development, and educational opportunities for women, youth, and underserved communities. Michael Bailey discussed how UBU100 has grown from a local initiative into a movement focused on helping individuals become the best version of themselves while using golf as a platform for mentorship, networking, and life development.

The founders expressed their excitement about choosing Atlanta as the next major city for UBU100's continued growth. They believe the city's strong business community, diverse population, and culture of entrepreneurship make it an ideal place to expand their mission. Their vision extends far beyond hosting a golf tournament—they aim to establish lasting partnerships with schools, businesses, community organizations, and civic leaders to create year-round opportunities for youth and families.

Throughout the tournament weekend, participants enjoyed competitive golf, networking opportunities, golf clinics, community activities, and meaningful conversations, all while supporting programs designed to prepare young people for future success. The atmosphere reflected UBU100's commitment to combining sports, leadership, education, and service into one impactful experience.

The ATL Now is proud to have covered this milestone event and looks forward to following UBU100's continued growth in Atlanta. As the organization establishes roots in the city, its focus on community impact, mentorship, and positive change has the potential to create lasting benefits for Metro Atlanta residents for years to come.
